The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating and managing freight shipments, developing strong relationships with carriers and clients, and ensuring the efficient and cost-effective transportation of goods. Key Responsibilities: -Build and maintain relationships with shippers, carriers, and customers to secure freight opportunities. -Negotiate rates with carriers to maximize profitability while ensuring competitive pricing for clients. -Coordinate and manage the full logistics cycle, including scheduling, tracking, and problem resolution. -Monitor freight shipments to ensure timely delivery and communicate any delays or issues to stakeholders. -Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) to manage logistics operations. Prospect and onboard new clients to grow the business portfolio. -Ensure compliance with all transportation regulations and company policies. Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly. Qualifications: -Proven experience as a freight broker or in a similar logistics role. -Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and transportation management software. -Knowledge of freight industry regulations and best practices.
