Key Responsibilities: Process Transactions: Efficiently handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions using a POS system. Customer Service: Greet customers warmly, assist with inquiries, and provide product information to enhance the shopping experience. Maintain Accuracy: Ensure accurate billing and receipt generation, and manage returns and exchanges following company policies. Cash Handling: Perform cash handling duties, including opening and closing the cash register, reconciling receipts, and maintaining an accurate cash drawer. Inventory Management: Assist with stocking shelves, organizing displays, and maintaining a neat and orderly store environment. Support Sales: Promote ongoing sales, special offers, and loyalty programs to customers. Safety and Security: Follow store policies and procedures to ensure safety, security, and loss prevention. Assist with Store Operations: Support the team with other tasks, such as cleaning and restocking, as needed. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Experience: Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role preferred. Skills:Strong numerical and cash handling skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
