Job Description

You are an experienced professional responsible for refining existing web analytics tracking and reporting by analyzing user interaction using Google Tag Manager (GTM). Your main role involves implementing and managing tags, triggers, and variables within GTM. Additionally, you will be supporting various operational projects as part of the Marketing Operations team to implement new platforms. Your key responsibilities include: - Overseeing and maintaining the entire GTM setup to ensure smooth and efficient operation across all paid marketing channels. - Managing pixel and UTM governance for both paid and organic channels, including reporting on operations and performance. - Implementing, monitoring, and troubleshooting all GTM tags to ensure accurate data collection and tracking. - Managing the deployment of marketing pixels to track campaign performance and user interactions. - Defining and optimizing triggers to capture key user interactions and events. - Writing and maintaining custom JavaScript and HTML scripts to enhance tracking capabilities. - Managing user access roles and permissions within the GTM platform for security and compliance. - Creating, managing, and updating GTM containers for different projects with proper version control. - Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of tracking data through regular audits. - Centralizing marketing reporting needs and prioritizing tasks in collaboration with the internal Analytics team. - Analyzing website data and trends to identify areas for improvement. - Working collaboratively with development teams to deliver tagging updates. - Collaborating with marketing, IT, and analytics teams to understand tracking needs and provide solutions. - Maintaining stakeholder communication on progress, capabilities, and best practices. - Creating custom events and guiding stakeholders on tracking capabilities based on desired outcomes. - Setting up a ticketing system to manage support requests effectively. - Supporting other projects under the Marketing Operations team. Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Software Engineering, Web Applications Development. - Strong knowledge of scripting languages, including SQL, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, jQuery, Angular JS. - Familiarity with Object-Oriented Design programming and fundamentals. - Must have experience with Tag Management systems like Google Tag Manager (GTM). - Google Analytics Certification or GTM Certification is preferred. - Experience in Web Analytics, data visualization tools, and marketing pixel implementation. - Experience in implementing and troubleshooting marketing pixels using GTM. - Experience in updating 3rd party tags associated with analytics platforms for web activity reporting.
