Google Cloud Sales Specialist India

As a Google Sales Specialist in India, your primary responsibility will be to establish and expand the market presence of Google and NetApps Cloud storage portfolio within key verticals/industries across India. You will work in collaboration with various teams including Google Cloud, partner sales, GTM teams, product management, and engineering to drive sales pipeline development, achieve business objectives, and increase Google cloud consumption among new and existing customers. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and maintain a revenue-focused Sales Plan by leveraging Google resources and building relationships with Partner, Alliances, Field Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Professional Services Teams. Manage sales opportunities, create a sales pipeline, and forecast revenue. - Implement disciplined business management practices, demonstrate accountability, and establish a robust business network with key stakeholders. Exceed sales targets and operational standards. - Lead the exploration of new markets and verticals, driving transformational shifts for customers. Offer high-impact solutions that facilitate digital transformation. - Ensure a positive Customer and Partner Experience by aligning with Google's foundational goals and aspirations. Qualifications Required: - Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales targeting the Indian market, with a preference for Application and Infrastructure Modernization, DevOps, and/or Google Cloud Infrastructure Adoption. - Demonstrated expertise in selling large solution-based deals to senior business decision-makers, emphasizing the value of solutions in addressing business challenges and strategic opportunities. - Background in working within complex matrix organizations, possessing strong business acumen, negotiation skills, and effective communication abilities. - Proficiency in problem-solving with Google Cloud Platform, particularly in areas such as application and infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, hybrid cloud, DevOps/DevTest, AI data integration, and familiarity with enterprise and competitive cloud solutions. - Proven success in previous roles involving collaboration with customers and partners through joint GTM programs. - Understanding of various hyperscaler GTM strategies and channels, including marketplace and partner ecosystems, with a preference for experience with Google Cloud. - Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment, think creatively about new storage consumption/pricing models, and stay updated on emerging technologies.
