Job Description

Job Title: Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Trainer (For Students)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Trainer to educate students on the principles, standards, and procedures of quality manufacturing. The trainer will be responsible for delivering engaging and practical sessions that help students understand how to maintain product quality, safety, and compliance in a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct training sessions, workshops, and demonstrations on Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for students.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, presentations, and lab manuals aligned with GMP standards.
  • Teach key topics such as:
  • Introduction to GMP and Quality Systems
  • Roles of Personnel and Hygiene in Manufacturing
  • Documentation and Record Keeping
  • Equipment and Facility Maintenance
  • Production and Process Controls
  • Handling of Raw Materials and Packaging
  • Quality Assurance and Quality Control
  • Health, Safety, and Environmental Practices
  • Regulatory Guidelines (WHO, FDA, ISO standards)
  • Provide practical case studies and examples from pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing industries.
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and feedback sessions to track student learning.
  • Ensure that students understand compliance requirements and ethical aspects of manufacturing.
  • Keep updated with the latest industry standards and regulatory changes related to GMP.
  • Guide students in mini-projects, internships, or simulated production environments to apply GMP principles.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Pharmacy, Biotechnology, Food Technology, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
  • In-depth knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality systems.
  • Familiarity with industry guidelines and compliance requirements (e.g., WHO, USFDA, ISO, HACCP).
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to explain complex quality and regulatory topics in a simple and engaging way.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a trainer or instructor in GMP, QA/QC, or industrial management.
  • Professional certification or training in GMP, Quality Management, or Regulatory Affairs.
  • Industry experience in pharmaceuticals, food processing, or chemical manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) and Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
