We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager with expertise in AWS cloud operations, Automation, Cloud Architecture, DevOps, and Security practices. The ideal candidate will lead a team proficient in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and tools like GitLab, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Terraform to manage secure and scalable cloud environments. AWS certifications are highly desirable, reflecting a commitment to cloud excellence. Location: Bangalore Experience Level: 10-15 years (with leadership experience) Key Responsibilities: 1. **Team Leadership and Management:** - Lead and mentor a team of DevOps Engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment. - Plan and allocate resources for timely project delivery. 2. **Cloud Operations & Architecture:** - Design and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructures, optimizing performance and scalability. - Implement optimization strategies for large-scale EKS platforms. 3. **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** - Guide the team in developing and maintaining automated infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and GitLab CI/CD. 4. **Platform Engineering:** - Develop and automate CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitLab, ensuring seamless deployment and integration processes. 5. **Security and Compliance:** - Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance standards in AWS environments. - Implement identity and access management policies and security incident response procedures. 6. **Collaboration and Leadership:** - Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver cloud solutions. - Mentor and develop junior engineers, sharing best practices in cloud operations and DevOps. Required Skills and Experience: - Strong leadership and management skills. - Proficiency in GitLab/Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services. - Experience with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, and Ansible. - Proficiency in scripting languages for automation and troubleshooting. - Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Preferred Qualifications: - Educational background in Engineering or related fields. - AWS certifications: Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty. - Familiarity with other cloud platforms and monitoring tools.
