The Medical Coding Specialist will be responsible for reviewing clinical documentation and diagnostic results, as well as applying appropriate codes to claims for billing purposes. The role also includes auditing medical records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with coding guidelines, and working closely with healthcare providers to clarify information and ensure precise documentation. Qualifications Experience in Medical Coding Knowledge of Medical Terminology and Coding guidelines Health Information Management skills RHIT (Registered Health Information Technician) Certification Attention to detail and strong analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management or related field preferred
