We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in researching funding opportunities, preparing compelling grant proposals, managing donor communications, and ensuring compliance with both international and Indian regulatory frameworks. JOB DESCRITION * Identify and research international and domestic funding opportunities from bilateral, multilateral, foundation, and corporate sources. * Lead the writing of grant proposals, letters of inquiry (LOIs), concept notes, and donor reports. * Customize proposals based on donor guidelines, cultural context, and impact metrics. * Support the development and maintenance of strong relationships with potential donors. * Coordinate and schedule donor meetings, presentations, and site visits. * Maintain accurate records of proposals, submissions, and reporting deadlines. * Ensure that all proposals and reports comply with donor guidelines and Indian legal frameworks (e.g., FCRA). * Assist in preparing grant agreements, MoUs, and due diligence documentation. * Track deliverables and reporting timelines, ensuring timely submission of all documents. * Monitor trends and donor priorities relevant to India’s development sector. QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE * Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Communications, Business, Public Relations, English, or related field. * 3–5 years of experience in grant writing or resource mobilization, preferably in the NGO sector. * Proven success in securing grants from international donors (e.g., USAID, DFID/FCDO, EU, UN agencies, large foundations). * Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. * Understanding of India’s development challenges and familiarity with FCRA and other relevant regulations. * Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills. * Experience with budgeting, log frames, and theory of change (ToC) is a plus.
