Job Title: Sales Manager (Cattle Genetics) Location: Moga, Punjab (North India) Department: Sales. Reports To: Business Head Experience: Minimum 10 – 12 years’ experience in Dairy/ Dairy Farm related business. With a focus on producing high-genetic potential animals, we leverage IVF technology and state-of-the-art practices to enhance the quality, productivity, and sustainability of dairy farming! www.godrejcattlegenetics.com Position Summary: We are looking for a results-driven and experienced Sales Manager to lead the Sales & Farm operations of a cattle genetics business in Punjab (North India) , The ideal candidate will be responsible for cattle genetics - related sales and marketing initiatives and business operations. Key Responsibilities: Sales & Marketing Support: Lead the Embryo Transfer business in North India region. Identifying potential customers, Handling Institutions, Large Farmers, Network Building, Handling Post sales, Customer retention etc. Lead the sale of High Genetic Cattle, including documentation and certifications. Sales and Marketing by providing real-time business data to stakeholders. Ensure all livestock sold meets the quality standards and health requirements. Sales Team Management : Driving Business Targets & Admin Supervision. Farm & IVF Lab Management: Lead Team of Veterinarians & Paravets, Supervise and schedule work for farm staff engaged in farm operations, including feed handlers, cleaners, animal caretakers and Admin. Lead training and development of junior/trainee staff in livestock handling and farm safety. Foster a high-performing, safety-focused, and animal-centric culture on the farm. Co-ordinate with IVF Lab Team for planning & scheduling embryo transfer as per market requirement. Financial & Compliance Responsibilities: Prepare and monitor Sales & farm budgets, production targets, and cost control measures. Maintain accurate financial records, reports, and compliance documentation. Ensure full adherence to local government and environmental regulations related to business operations. Qualifications: Education: BVSc / MVSc (preferred) BSc in Agriculture with specialization in Dairy Science, Farm Management, or Agri-Economics Experience: Minimum 10 – 12 years’ experience in Dairy/ Dairy Farm related business. Strong background in cattle/cow management and animal health. Proven experience in team supervision. Key Competencies: In-depth knowledge of Cattle and Cattle farm related business. Strong organizational, leadership, and planning skills. Excellent negotiation skills and Customer/Vendor management skills. Ability to Travel extensively across market.
