We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Factory Operations Head to lead our manufacturing operations in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the heavy fabrication industry, driving operational excellence, and managing large teams within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This critical leadership role is responsible for ensuring efficient production, maintaining high-quality and safety standards, and fostering a productive, high-performance work culture. Key Responsibilities: Manage, direct, and monitor the overall performance of the factory production floor, overseeing day-to-day operations of the: Production Department Stores and Material Management Quality Control and Quality Assurance Maintenance Supply Chain (as applicable to factory operations) Drive operational efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness within the fabrication unit. Implement and maintain ISO standards and procedures to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across all factory processes. Lead, mentor, and manage a workforce of approximately 250 employees, fostering a safe, engaged, and high-performance team. Strategically plan and optimize production schedules to meet delivery timelines and client expectations. Effectively manage client visits and interface with customers, presenting factory capabilities and addressing operational queries. Ensure rigorous adherence to all safety regulations and best practices. Develop plans for the factory’s progress, production improvement, and overall growth. Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational success, identify areas for improvement, and disseminate feedback to relevant internal entities. Resolve any factory-related operational issues and take corrective actions as required. Provide effective liaison and support to other departments/units within the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering is mandatory. Total experience of 10-15 years in manufacturing operations, with a strong specialization in the heavy fabrication industry. Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a senior management or leadership role within a manufacturing setup. Demonstrable experience in the successful implementation and maintenance of ISO quality management systems. Prior experience in managing a large workforce (approx. 250 employees). Prior experience in Pipe Fabrication (Oil and Gas Industry), Boiler Manufacturing Industry, or General Heavy Fabrication is highly preferred. Prior experience operating or managing a team using Laser / Plasma CNC Pipe Profiling Machines is a significant advantage. Sound knowledge in Pipe Accessories and Fittings such (e.g., elbows, reducers, nuts & bolts, supporting arrangements, and other required ancillary items).
