As a Production Support professional at Birlasoft, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of production systems within environments utilizing Linux and Unix servers. Your primary focus will be on troubleshooting incidents, maintaining system uptime, and working closely with teams to manage and resolve critical incidents promptly. In this role, you will leverage tools such as Splunk for monitoring and log analysis, PuTTY for SSH access to Linux/Unix systems, and WinSCP for secure file transfers. You will also work with MOVEit and GoAnywhere to manage secure file transfers and automate workflows, as well as Snow for asset management to track and ensure compliance of software and hardware. A significant part of your responsibilities will involve Major Incident Management, where you will respond to and resolve critical production issues in collaboration with cross-functional teams. You will be expected to troubleshoot, identify root causes, and implement solutions while ensuring proper documentation and follow-up for continuous improvement. Furthermore, you will play a key role in Change and Release Management by coordinating with development and operations teams to plan, test, and deploy changes in a controlled manner. It will be essential to review changes thoroughly, conduct testing, and communicate effectively with stakeholders to minimize risks to production systems during releases. Overall, your focus will be on ensuring system stability, reducing downtime, and supporting seamless operations across multiple production environments. Role & responsibilities Technologies: - Managed File Transfer (MFT) using GoAnywhere, Cleo Harmony, IBM Sterling B2B Integrator | Scheduling using Tivoli Workload Scheduler Tools: - JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow, GitHub, PowerBI Methodology: - Agile Automation: - Terraform/CDK, Ansible Scripting: - Python, PowerShell Cloud: - AWS DevOps: - GitHub actions, Ansible Responsibilities • Act as an individual contributor and lead/coach the team technically. • Able to provide consultancy & Solution to customer irrespective of product stack used. • Drive technical discussions and stand-ups for key deliverables. • Identify toil and develop automated solution with reduced effort. • Good at troubleshooting level 3 kind of issues for all listed technologies. • Experienced with AWS Cloud with CDK using Python. • Hands-on with DevOps and pipeline using Github actions. • Experienced with Python language • Sound knowledge of different file transfer protocols like FTP, FTPs, SFTP, S3 & Connect:Direct. • Aware about end-to-end transfer architecture including DMZ & basic working knowledge of load-balancer and firewalls. • Plan, coordinate, and apply patch/upgrade of FTP softwares to latest/required level. • Coordinate and perform OS & DB maintenance activities. • Certificate Management involving CSR generation, cert issuing, cert implementation and validation. • Work on service requests & user fulfilment related to provisioning, deployments, assistance, etc. • Be able to provide on-call support for priority issues. • Understanding of vulnerabilities and how to fix them as per security guidelines. • Able to perform Disaster Recovery • Know audit requirements and how to coordinate & fulfill them. • Be able to migrate connections from Cleo/FileGateway to GoAnywhere Preferred candidate profile

We are seeking an experienced GoAnywhere Administrator with over 5 years of expertise in managing and optimizing GoAnywhere Managed File Transfer (MFT) solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the secure, reliable, and efficient transfer of data across our systems and with our partners. This role requires a deep understanding of MFT processes, security protocols, and compliance requirements. Key Responsibilities: System Administration: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of GoAnywhere MFT systems to ensure operational efficiency and security. Workflow Design and Automation: Develop and manage automated workflows for file transfers, leveraging GoAnywhere's features to streamline operations. Security Management: Implement and maintain security policies, including encryption, access controls, and secure transfer protocols (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS). User and Role Management: Create and manage user accounts and roles, ensuring appropriate access levels and permissions. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor file transfer activities, resolve issues, and optimize performance. Provide support for incident and problem management. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all file transfer activities comply with relevant regulations and standards. Generate detailed reports for audits and compliance checks. Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, business units, and external partners to understand requirements and deliver effective file transfer solutions. Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, processes, and procedures for internal reference and training purposes.
