Role Purpose Finantic India is seeking a HR Business Partner with a ninja mindset for a pivotal role in the company’s trajectory. As the strategic anchor for our rapidly expanding India operations, this position is ideal for someone passionate about blending high-performance work culture, deep collaboration, and continuous innovation—especially among teams with both IT product and IT services backgrounds. Your Key Responsibilities and KPIs The following responsibilities and KPIs are critical for company success because they align HR practices with business goals, enabling rapid staff integration and cultural cohesion in our startup’s formative stage. They build a framework for efficient recruitment, robust onboarding, and focused performance management, all of which help retain talent and sustain engagement. By embedding clear KPIs, the HR team keeps everyone accountable to strategic priorities, fostering employee satisfaction and supporting development. Initiatives like Great Place to Work certification further enhance employer branding, signalling commitment to a positive work environment. Together, these elements drive operational excellence, support scalable growth, and position the company for long-term success in a competitive market. Seamless Transition ·Lead the integration of 100+ staff into Finantic India, with success measured by the percentage of employees transitioned seamlessly within 90 days. ·Maintain high engagement and role clarity, ensuring that retention rates among transitioned staff are tracked at six and twelve months to monitor stability and employee confidence. Work Culture Integration ·Communicate and embed FinanticAI India’s vision, mission, and values across teams, assessing success through regular pulse surveys that measure culture alignment and values adoption. ·Foster a sense of belonging and trust, reflected in the overall Employee Net Promoter Score. Recruitment ·Develop relevant job descriptions that enhance employer branding on social media platforms, tracking progress using external metrics such as Glassdoor and LinkedIn reviews. ·Partner with India & US leadership to identify and fill critical Technology & Operation roles, with recruitment efficiencies analyzed based on average time-to-fill for those positions. Onboarding ·Deliver structured onboarding for all transitioning and new staff, aiming for a high onboarding satisfaction score based on feedback collected during the first thirty days of employment. ·Ensure every employee receives clear communication about HR systems, processes, KPIs, OKRs, and appraisals, as evidenced by complete performance cycle participation. Employee Engagement ·Roll out employee benefits, recognition, and feedback programs, enhancing satisfaction and retention by monitoring Employee Engagement Scores and continuous feedback metrics. ·Build trust and retention through open communication channels, keeping employee engagement consistently above benchmark scores. Performance Management ·Drive the implementation of KPI and OKR frameworks, tracking the percentage of employees with SMART goals set and reviewed in each performance cycle. ·Oversee transparent appraisal and development systems, partnering with L&D and measuring the impact by participation rates and application of new skills in roles. Great Place to Work Certification Initiatives ·Lead the GPTW certification journey, with progress measured by annual improvements in employee sentiment and culture scores, aiming for continual advancement in the org year-on-year GPTW score. ·Launch employee-first policies and practices, driving trust and fairness as reflected in ongoing survey and certification metrics. Ideal Profile · 10+ years in HR; 4+ years with a Fintech startup and part of high-growth team work environment. · Prior Experience handling Staff Transition, Culture Activation, and implementing HR frameworks. · Experience in KPI/OKR management, Employee Engagement and GPTW Certification. · Strategic HR mindset professional who was directly reported to Business leaders with confident communication and stakeholder management skills. ·Change Management: Helps facilitate smooth transitions, manage resistance, and drive acceptance of new processes or culture during growth phase. ·Self-Driven mindset: Critical for taking decisions, clearly conveying, guiding change, and aligning staff with organizational vision and values. ·Integrity and Empathy: Addressing employee concerns during transition, fostering trust and a sense of belonging. The position reports to the India Business Head and the HR Advisor. Given that we are in the start-up phase, the incumbent will be required to work from the Chennai office on all workdays (Monday to Friday) and extend support to employees across both morning and evening shifts.
