GMB Optimization Specialist

You are a skilled and results-driven Google My Business (GMB) Optimization Specialist responsible for enhancing the local online presence and increasing visibility in local search results. Your main tasks include setting up, optimizing, and maintaining Google Business Profiles (GBPs) across multiple locations, ensuring accuracy, engagement, and top local rankings. Key Responsibilities: - Set up and verify new Google Business Profiles (GBPs). - Optimize listings for SEO and user engagement, including business categories, services, attributes, descriptions, photos, and more. - Implement keyword strategies in business descriptions and posts. - Manage and respond to customer reviews professionally and promptly. - Create and schedule regular GMB posts to drive traffic and engagement. - Ensure NAP (Name, Address, Phone Number) consistency across all platforms. - Monitor insights and performance analytics to identify trends and make data-driven optimizations. - Perform competitor analysis to identify opportunities for visibility improvements. - Address suspensions or reinstatement issues with Google Support, if necessary. - Collaborate with SEO/marketing teams for integrated local SEO strategies. Requirements: - Proven experience in GMB/GBP optimization and local SEO. - Familiarity with Google Search Console and Google Analytics. - Strong written communication and customer service skills. - Basic understanding of local citation building and schema markup is a plus. - Ability to manage multiple listings and deadlines efficiently. - Knowledge of tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, or GMB Everywhere is a plus. Preferred Qualifications: - 1-3 years of experience in local SEO or digital marketing. - Certification in SEO or digital marketing (Google Digital Garage, SEMrush, etc.). - Agency experience managing multi-location or franchise GMB listings is a plus.
