GM Finance/Head Finance

As a Financial Analyst Leader in Indonesia, specializing in the Mining, Heavy Industry, and Oil & Gas sectors, you will be responsible for driving strategic financial planning and performance analysis for multinational clients across Southeast Asia and Oceania. Your role is crucial in providing actionable insights to executive leadership, optimizing financial performance, and enabling business growth through robust forecasting, budgeting, and reporting frameworks. Your key responsibilities will include leading the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) function across multiple business units, driving annual budgeting, rolling forecasts, and long-term planning processes, as well as developing and maintaining financial models to support business decisions. You will analyze P&L, cost structures, margin performance, and financial KPIs to prepare insightful reports for C-Suite and Board stakeholders. Collaborating with Business, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain leaders, you will identify risks and opportunities, act as a commercial partner for investment planning, and provide financial insights to drive strategic decisions and growth initiatives. Leading and mentoring regional finance analysts and planning teams, you will foster a high-performance culture with a focus on continuous improvement and upskilling, ensuring cross-country alignment and knowledge sharing. Moreover, you will streamline FP&A processes for efficiency and consistency, ensure compliance with regional regulations and internal controls, and drive automation and digital transformation in financial reporting. Your expertise in pricing development exposure, advanced financial modeling, and capex/opex management will be valuable for both short-term and long-term financial planning, including scenario planning and risk evaluation. Ideally, you should possess a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics, with CPA, CFA, or MBA preferred. With 8+ years of experience in FP&A or corporate finance, including 3+ years in a leadership role, regional experience across APAC is strongly preferred. Your advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, along with experience in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Workday) and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) are essential. Strong strategic thinking, communication, influencing skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural, and matrixed environment are also key attributes for this role.
