Global trademarks Associate / Attorney

You will be responsible for managing the Global Trademark Portfolio for Biocon group companies across India, US, EU, and other ROW countries. This includes overseeing Trademark litigations and oppositions in collaboration with external counsels. Additionally, you will be tasked with handling Trademark assignment activities on a global scale. Your role will involve reviewing Trademark agreements and IPR clauses, as well as working closely with cross-functional teams to support trademark-related activities. As a senior team member, you will also be expected to mentor and guide junior team members. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be to develop strategies for trademark searches in India and various foreign jurisdictions. This will involve utilizing different trademark databases and providing comprehensive search opinions in detailed search reports. You will also be responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate update of trademark status, prosecution, and maintenance timelines in the trademark portfolio. Active participation in trademark prosecution and litigation processes will be essential, requiring effective communication and coordination with cross-functional teams. Your ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders across the organization will be crucial in ensuring the successful management of Biocon's global trademark portfolio.,
