Role Summary: Support global sales teams in preparing high-quality technical and commercial proposals for flow metering solutions, mainly for Oil & Gas applications, during the acquisition stage. Key Responsibilities: Define and optimise flow metering applications and system architecture. Collaborate with process, mechanical, electrical, I&C, and procurement teams. Prepare technical drawings, datasheets, P&IDs, and system designs. Evaluate vendor offers and ensure compliance with international standards (OIML , AGA , ISO, API). Conduct costing, cash flow analysis, and support project execution activities. Standardise engineering documents and support site surveys/technical meetings. Requirements: Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering. 38 years’ experience in instrumentation/control engineering with focus on metering. Strong knowledge of instrumentation, control philosophy, communication protocols, industrial standards, and Oil & Gas processes. Experience in proposals/tendering and metering applications. Skills & Attributes: Strong technical, analytical, and commercial acumen. Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills. Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and engage with diverse stakeholders. Willingness to travel internationally (10–15%).

To create global tender proposals for Instrumentation Products, Solutions, Services (connected to supply only) with regard to bidding strategy, technical approach, performance, cost and schedule. Overall accuracy for individual proposals. 1. Understand (including formats, software, statutory requirements etc) & convert the tender scope & specifications into a summary document to facilitate a bid/no bid discussion. 2. Summarize the customer/consultant specifications & create a Deviation/clarification list (in consultation with product specialists/ extended partners). Initiate & Participate in technical clarification meetings with customers/consultants/ construction contractors/ engineering contractors for resolving/ clarifying our deviations. 3. Perform the role of embedded engineers at customer locations. 4. Prepare an optimum scope matrix (covering supply, warrantee & service). 5. Create proposal Bill Of Material to match customer specs & accepted deviations/ clarifications in ERP environment (SAP). 6. Identify the global team with acceptance from the functional leaders for execution of the project (when we win the contract), covering manufacturing, Project management/ Operations, Commercial, Finance, Legal, service & logistics functions. 7. Identify gaps (capacity/ skills/ products/ extended partners) before submission of offer 8. Compile the formal Technical document to suit the tender requirements (compliance report/ product catalogues/Preliminary drawings, Bar-chart/Gan- chart, ITP, QAP etc.). 9. Proactive in managing bid submission dates” with customer with support from local sales team member. 10. Identify options for managing the extended scope for each proposal where by we add value to our customer & make a winning proposition. 11. Develop winning proposal bids regarding scope, schedule, performance and terms and conditions.
