As an Assistant Vice President (AVP) of Finance at our company, you will play a crucial role as the right-hand person to the Senior Vice President (SVP) of Finance. Your responsibilities will include overseeing finance operations in multiple countries, collaborating with senior business leaders, and providing insightful financial analysis and MIS reporting to facilitate strategic decision-making. Your key responsibilities will involve leading finance operations across various geographies, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, managing audits and regulatory filings, and establishing robust financial controls and governance. You will also be responsible for designing and maintaining Management Information Systems (MIS), delivering accurate financial reporting and analysis, and driving financial closing processes on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. In addition, you will conduct in-depth financial analysis to support business decisions, collaborate with the SVP of Finance on budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis, and provide financial insights for strategic projects, fundraising, and M&A activities. You will act as a finance business partner for senior leaders across functions such as Sales, Marketing, HR, Operations, Delivery, and Product, offering proactive financial guidance to support growth and efficiency. Furthermore, as the AVP of Finance, you will lead and mentor a high-performing finance team, develop scalable finance processes and systems, and cultivate a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement within the team. Your qualifications should include at least 10 years of progressive finance experience, prior experience in managing finance operations across multiple countries, expertise in MIS, financial reporting, FP&A, and financial modeling, and strong stakeholder management skills. A CA / CPA / MBA Finance qualification is preferred, and experience in SaaS, technology, or global services businesses would be advantageous. The ideal candidate for this role will demonstrate high ownership, a proactive problem-solving approach, strong leadership and team-building skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, and the capability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.,
