Global Project Coordinator SAP Implementation

Key Responsibilities

To provide centralized coordination, tracking, and reporting support for the global SAP S/4HANA implementation program across India, Ireland, and the USA, ensuring efficient execution, cross-functional alignment, and compliance with SOX and US GAAP project governance standards.

1. Project Coordination & Planning

  • Coordinate global project plans, workstreams, and schedules in alignment with overall program objectives.
  • Support milestone tracking, dependency management, and critical path analysis.
  • Consolidate inputs from functional leads (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, Tax, etc.) across geographies.

2. Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the communication bridge between the global project team and regional stakeholders.
  • Organize global steering committee and workstream governance meetings (agendas, minutes, follow-ups).
  • Maintain communication trackers, RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

3. Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and circulate weekly and monthly dashboards, project status updates, and risk reports for the program sponsor, steering committee, and global leadership.
  • Maintain updated documentation including project charters, change requests, test plans, training records, and user acceptance sign-offs.

4. Compliance & Quality Assurance

  • Ensure adherence to SOX-compliant change management and documentation procedures during system design, testing, and go-live stages.
  • Support audit-readiness and traceability documentation per US GAAP accounting and internal controls framework.
  • Work with internal control and audit teams to align project deliverables with compliance expectations.

5. Tools & Technology Support

  • Utilize project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, ServiceNow, SAP Solution Manager, SharePoint) to monitor and manage progress.
  • Support data migration coordination, testing cycle documentation (SIT/UAT), and cutover readiness tracking.

6. Resource & Budget Tracking

  • Assist with resource allocations, time tracking compliance, and coordination of project-related travel and expenses within approved budgets.
  • Monitor consultant/vendor deliverables and ensure timely approvals and escalations where necessa.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or Computer Science; PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
  • 710 years of experience in global ERP project coordination or PMO roles, ideally in pharma or life sciences.
  • Prior exposure to

    SAP S/4HANA implementations

    (global or multi-country rollouts preferred).
  • Strong understanding of

    SOX controls

    ,

    US GAAP project accounting

    , and audit-related documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a proven ability to coordinate across time zones and cultures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and collaboration tools like Teams, Smartsheet, or Jira.

Desirable Attributes:

  • Experience working with GxP-regulated environments and CFR Part 11 compliant documentation.
  • Familiarity with SAP modules such as FICO, MM, SD, PP, or QM is a plus.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Comfortable working in a hybrid/remote setup with flexible working hours across India, Ireland, and the USA.
