Global Engineering - Electrical Design (EPLAN)

As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing electrical systems, components, and equipment based on project requirements. Your responsibilities will include creating detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD and EPLAN. It is essential to ensure that your designs comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations. Additionally, you will be involved in preparing and reviewing technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM), specifications, and reports. Staying updated with emerging technologies and best practices in electrical design engineering will be a key aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design and develop electrical systems, components, and equipment according to project requirements. - Manage article data in MDS/SAP & EPLAN and utilize Configurator EPLAN Engineering Configuration (EEC). - Create detailed electrical drawings, schematics, and layouts using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN). - Ensure designs adhere to industry standards (e.g., EN, IEC) and safety regulations. - Prepare and review technical documentation, including bills of materials (BOM), specifications, and reports. - Stay abreast of emerging technologies and best practices in electrical design engineering. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - 1-5 years of proven experience in electrical design. - Proficiency in E-CAD tools like AutoCAD, EPLAN, and SolidWorks Electrical, with expertise in EPLAN 8 & EEC. - Training certificates in P8, 3D Layouts, Macros, Smart/Process wiring. - Strong understanding of electrical systems, power distribution, control systems, and circuit design. - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Strong communication and teamwork abilities. - Flexibility to travel within India and abroad for training and business purposes when necessary.,
