Global Data Analyst

Hitachi Energy is seeking a confident and energetic Global Data Analyst to join our marketing and sales operations team. In this role, you will provide support to the Marketing and Sales Performance Management team by offering necessary analytical and process support for the effective implementation of M&S processes and policies. Your responsibilities will include liaising with the Market & Business Visibility team in M&S Operations to assess processes and transactions, ensuring they are delivering maximum value accurately and completely to the business. You will be responsible for data visualization and analytics, including developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI and Salesforce.com. Additionally, you will proactively monitor and maintain high levels of data quality and completeness and provide analysis for continuous improvement opportunities. As a Global Data Analyst, you will support key Marketing & Sales processes, such as Market and Demand estimations, Target setting, and Growth Planning. You will also be hands-on in Power BI, Power Tool, and Anaplan, building reporting models, developing visual reports, dashboards, and KPI scorecards. Your role will involve translating data into informative visuals and reports, implementing row-level security on data, and understanding application security layer models in Power BI. To be successful in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical/data sciences/business discipline and have at least five years of experience in Complex Data Analysis, Data Visualization, and Data Reporting. Proficiency in PowerBI, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint is a must, along with expertise in statistics and data analytics. You should have experience working with different data sources, databases, and data retrieval systems, as well as stakeholder management skills and a customer-oriented approach. Experience in modeling in Anaplan and intermediate knowledge in Salesforce.com will be advantageous. Proficiency in both spoken and written English is required, and the ability to work on multiple assignments in parallel while meeting deadlines and maintaining quality is essential.
