Role Overview : We are seeking a Marketing In-Charge to lead the branding efforts for a group of startups and their principal owner. This role requires expertise in building strong corporate and personal brands, enhancing visibility in industry circles, and positioning both the startups and their founder as thought leaders. The ideal candidate will drive strategic storytelling, digital presence, and public relations to establish the owner as a visionary leader and the startups as industry disruptors. Key Responsibilities : Brand Strategy & Positioning (Startups & Principal Owner) Develop and execute a holistic brand strategy for both the startups and their principal owner. Establish a distinctive personal brand for the founder that aligns with their vision, expertise, and industry influence. Ensure consistent messaging across all branding channels, maintaining unique identities for each startup while connecting them to the founder’s leadership. Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify branding opportunities. 2. Digital Presence & Online Authority • Manage and grow the principal owner’s LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and YouTube presence. • Oversee SEO, website development, and digital content for personal and company branding. • Drive thought leadership content such as blogs, podcasts, video interviews, and expert commentary.• Use social listening tools to monitor and enhance online reputation. 3. Public Relations & Media Outreach • Build relationships with journalists, influencers, and industry leaders to secure media coverage. • Develop and distribute press releases, feature articles, and guest columns for the principal owner. • Arrange speaking engagements, panel discussions, and keynote opportunities at the industry events. • Manage crisis communication and reputation management. 4. Content Strategy & Thought Leadership • Create compelling brand stories, keynote speeches, and interview scripts for the principal owner. • Plan and execute a content calendar featuring insights on business leadership, industry trends, and startup innovations. • Oversee video content, podcasts, and personal branding initiatives such as Q&A sessions, fireside chats, and behind-the-scenes content. 5. Social Media & Community Engagement • Develop an engaging and interactive social media strategy for the principal owner. • Foster a strong online community by actively engaging with followers, industry peers, and potential investors. • Use data-driven insights to optimize content, increase engagement, and build a loyal audience. 6. Strategic Partnerships & Networking • Identify and establish strategic collaborations, sponsorships, and brand partnerships. • Facilitate networking opportunities with investors, policymakers, and industry experts. • Organize and promote exclusive events, roundtables, and masterclasses led by the principal owner. 7. Marketing & Lead Generation • Run targeted advertising campaigns to boost brand awareness and engagement.• Align brand-building efforts with the business growth objectives of the startups. • Track key metrics and analyse the ROI of marketing initiatives. Key Skills & Qualifications: • Proven experience in personal branding, corporate branding, and thought leadership marketing. • Expertise in digital marketing, PR, content strategy, and social media growth. • Strong ability to craft compelling narratives and high-impact storytelling. • Experience managing executive branding and online reputation. • Knowledge of marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, Canva, LinkedIn Ads, and WordPress. • Ability to work in fast-paced startup environments and handle multiple brands. • or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
