As the Design Head for the Doors, Windows & Facade Division at Valueline in Hyderabad, you will play a crucial role in leading and managing a team of designers to curate luxury architectural solutions. Valueline, known for its excellence and innovation in luxury homes, seeks a candidate with extensive experience in aluminium systems, strong technical acumen, and exceptional leadership skills. Your primary responsibilities will include overseeing a team of designers, providing technical expertise in selecting the right materials, and offering support to the sales team and clients. You will be responsible for ensuring design accuracy, feasibility, and adherence to international standards while staying updated on industry advancements. Key Responsibilities: - Leadership & Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of designers, review technical drawings, and provide training on industry advancements. - Technical Expertise & Design Approvals: Select appropriate materials, validate drawings, and collaborate with fabrication and installation teams. - Client & Sales Team Support: Offer technical guidance to the sales team, attend client meetings, and recommend solutions to clients and architects. - Showroom & Product Consultation: Showcase products to clients, explain technical advantages, and assist in developing design presentations. - Quality Control & Innovation: Ensure designs meet safety norms, recommend innovative solutions, and stay updated on global trends. Key Requirements: - Experience: 5+ years in aluminium systems design and execution. - Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and mentor a design team effectively. - Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in aluminium systems, glazing, and facade engineering. - Software Proficiency: Expertise in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and relevant design tools. - Client Interaction Skills: Strong communication and presentation abilities. - Problem-Solving Ability: Analytical skills to offer value-engineered solutions. - Education: Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or related field.
