Position Overview

We are inviting applications for the role of Glass Lined Vessel Operator at our Pigment Green 7 manufacturing plant located in Vapi, Gujarat. The selected candidate will play a key role in the chemical processing operations, with a particular focus on handling glass lined vessels and overseeing the chlorination process critical to Pigment Green 7 production.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate Glass Lined Vessels: Ensure safe and efficient functioning of glass lined vessels used in the production of Pigment Green 7.
• Chlorination Process Management: Independently handle and monitor the chlorination process, maintaining strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
• Pump and Motor Operation: Operate and maintain pumps and motors associated with chemical transfers and vessel operations.
• Batch Temperature Monitoring: Regularly check and record temperatures throughout the batch process until completion, ensuring process parameters are within defined limits.
• Log Book Maintenance: Accurately update and maintain log books, recording all relevant operational data, incidents, and process changes for each batch.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve basic equipment and process-related issues to minimise downtime and maintain production efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Strictly follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations, including the safe handling of chemicals and use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Desired Candidate Profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in chemical plant operations, preferably in pigment Green 7 manufacturing.
• Proven experience with glass lined vessel operations and the chlorination process.
• Familiarity with pumps, motors, and batch processing equipment.
• Ability to maintain detailed operational records and logs.
• Strong attention to safety, quality, and process detail.
• Educational qualification: ITI or Non Graduate can also apply
• Willingness to work in shifts as per plant requirements.
