Contact Email: Hireon56@gmail.com Job Summary: We are looking for a technically sound and result-oriented Deputy Manager / Manager Projects & Maintenance to oversee plant maintenance, project execution, and preventive maintenance activities. The candidate must have extensive hands-on experience with pressurized reactors , glass-lined reactors , and multi-step batch (MSDL) reactors , along with a solid understanding of both mechanical and electrical maintenance systems . Key Responsibilities: Maintenance Operations: Supervise and manage day-to-day mechanical and electrical maintenance of plant equipment including reactors, pumps, agitators, motors, valves, and utilities. Lead preventive and predictive maintenance planning and implementation to maximize equipment uptime and efficiency. Manage breakdown analysis and corrective actions (RCA & CAPA). Ensure availability of critical spare parts and maintain stock levels. Projects Execution: Plan, manage, and execute capex and maintenance projects including reactor installations, plant upgrades, and infrastructure development. Prepare detailed project schedules, technical documentation, and budgets. Liaise with consultants, vendors, and OEMs for seamless project execution. Plant Maintenance: Responsible for the smooth operation and upkeep of entire plant machinery and utility systems . Conduct inspections, audits, and compliance checks for all operational assets. Implement and maintain documentation as per GMP and ISO standards. Compliance & Safety: Ensure compliance with PESO, pollution control, safety, and statutory regulations . Promote EHS best practices across the maintenance and project teams. Lead safety drills and ensure safety protocols are followed during maintenance and shutdown activities. Team & Coordination: Lead and mentor a team of technicians and engineers across maintenance and project functions. Coordinate with production, QA, and EHS departments for cross-functional activities. Prepare and present maintenance KPIs, downtime reports, and improvement initiatives to senior management. Candidate Requirements: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering . Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in chemical, API pharma, or paints industries . Strong knowledge of glass-lined, pressurized, and MSDL reactor systems . Sound understanding of both mechanical and electrical systems in industrial setups. Experience in plant maintenance , project management , and preventive maintenance planning .
