Position: Financial Accountant Experience: 35 Years Relevant Location: Bangalore Hybrid: 3 days WFO, 2 days WFH About the Role: The Financial Accountant will be responsible for end-to-end processes within their scope, ensuring compliance with global and local accounting standards. The role involves close collaboration with senior finance members across local and overseas offices to enhance financial procedures and streamline processes. Responsibilities: Prepare management and financial accounts, and review monthly results for entities. Perform calculation, review, and approval of accounting entries. Ensure accurate recording of revenue and expenses. Manage indirect and operational tax-related activities if required. Provide information for group reporting, including financial statement notes. Maintain strong financial controls, including preparation and review of reconciliations. Recommend process improvements for efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with policies and IFRS, making necessary adjustments. Provide technical support on accounting treatments for accurate reporting. Coordinate internal and external audits for compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities. Support continuous improvement projects and remediation of audit findings. Develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders (treasury, tax, finance ops) and external auditors. Review monthly reconciliations (accruals, prepaid, property, inter-company accounts). Document and maintain processes under own responsibility. Handle internal and external ad hoc requests promptly. Requirements: 35 years of relevant experience in GL/R2R. Commerce Graduate (BCom / MCom Finance). Strong knowledge of financial processes, statements, and risks related to balance sheet positions. Advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. International experience/corporate environment exposure is an advantage. Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, or Power Automate is preferred. Fluency in English (written & spoken). Hiring at Mindlance for GL R2R role Shift Timing : 3 PM to 12 AM (IST) Both side cabs available Five days working (Saturday and Sunday Fixed week off) Onsite Only no WFH or Hybrid will be provided Job Description /Responsibilities : Manage the complete accounting process, including the preparation and finalization of balance sheets and profit and loss statements. Perform monthly bookkeeping tasks, close the books on a regular basis, and prepare comprehensive financial reports and analyses. Ensure the accurate and timely submission of all monthly financial reports and information to the business. Oversee change flow management and execute necessary rectification journal vouchers (JVs) as required. Continuously evaluate current processes to identify inefficiencies and gaps, and propose and implement corrective actions. Serve as the primary point of contact for liaising with the US onshore team, ensuring effective and independent communication. Execute additional tasks and projects as assigned by management in a timely and efficient manner. Conduct thorough ledger scrutiny to verify the accuracy, correctness, and completeness of financial accounts. Perform reconciliations of various accounts, including intercompany, bank, income statements, vendor, and customer accounts. Address and resolve queries from auditors and interdepartmental teams independently, providing necessary information and details as required. Job Skills Required : Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in advanced MS Excel, Outlook, and MS Teams. Strong knowledge of advanced and intermediate accounting entries, rules, principles, and procedures. Expertise in final accounts, including Balance Sheet, P&L, and Ratio Analysis.
