Job Description – Business Manager / Operations Manager – Wedding Photography & Cinematography About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Business Manager / Operations Manager to oversee and streamline all operational aspects of our wedding photography, cinematography, and videography business. This role is perfect for someone with a strong mix of leadership, client management, scheduling, and production coordination skills—someone who can ensure every wedding shoot runs like clockwork and exceeds client expectations. Key Responsibilities 1. Business & Operations Management - Oversee daily business operations, ensuring smooth coordination between creative, sales, and post-production teams. - Develop, implement, and improve operational systems, processes, and policies. - Track budgets, expenses, and project profitability. - Negotiate with vendors, freelancers, and partners for best rates and quality. 2. Client & Project Coordination - Serve as the primary point of contact for clients from booking to delivery. - Understand client requirements and ensure the creative team is well-briefed. - Prepare and manage timelines for pre-wedding, wedding day, and post-production phases. - Handle client queries, feedback, and revisions with professionalism. 3. Shoot Planning & Logistics - Coordinate crew assignments for photography, cinematography, and drone operations. - Plan shoot schedules, travel arrangements, and equipment needs. - Ensure backup plans are in place for manpower, weather, or technical contingencies. 4. Team Leadership - Supervise photographers, videographers, editors, and support staff. - Conduct regular team meetings to review progress and resolve issues. - Oversee hiring, training, and performance reviews of team members. 5. Quality Control & Delivery - Ensure deliverables (photos, videos, albums, trailers) meet brand quality standards. - Monitor timelines for editing, album design, and final delivery. - Maintain a consistent feedback loop with the creative team to ensure continuous improvement. Key Skills & Requirements - *Experience:* 4+ years in business operations or production management, preferably in photography/videography or events. - *Education:* Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Media Production, or related field (MBA is a plus). - *Skills:* Strong leadership and people management skills; excellent communication and client-handling abilities; proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana) and MS Office/Google Workspace; basic understanding of photography/cinematography equipment and workflow; budgeting and cost-control experience.
