As a Vice President for Technology in the Corporate Bank Tribe at Deutsche Bank, based in Pune, India, you will collaborate with business, technology managers, and the Risk and Control team to develop and maintain the application stack and execute various programs. Joining the Commercial Banking Tribe within the Corporate Bank, you will be at the forefront of catering to the specialized needs of small and medium enterprise clients in Germany, a segment earmarked for growth and investment. The tribe is dedicated to the digital transformation of 800,000 clients across 3 brands, focusing on the BizBanking platform's establishment, development of digital sales and service processes, and process automation for this client segment. Collaborating in an agile setup with business colleagues and engineers from various areas, the tribe is committed to extensive digitalization of business processes and migrating applications to the cloud, aiming for a highly automated and adaptable process and application landscape. As part of a cross-functional agile delivery team, you will bring an innovative approach to software development, leveraging the latest technologies and practices to deliver business value. Your collaborative mindset and open approach to engineering will foster a supportive environment conducive to open discussion and code sharing. You will play a key role in all stages of software delivery, from initial analysis to production support, driving continuous improvement and value creation. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with a focus on test automation for frontend and backend APIs. - Plan, design, and develop automated tests to validate features delivered by your Squad, integrating them into the build pipeline and sharing test reports with stakeholders. - Design Test Plans/Test Strategy and coordinate test execution across different testing phases, supporting manual testing when necessary. - Collaborate closely with Testers, Business Stakeholders, Developers, and DevOps Engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for functional and non-functional tests. - Engage actively in the test and engineering community, sharing knowledge and building a strong network within the organization. Skills And Experience: - University degree in a technological or scientific field or equivalent working experience. - Extensive experience in test automation with proficiency in testing frameworks like Selenium, Karate, Cypress, Postman. - Strong knowledge of Java, JavaScript/NodeJS, and CI environments such as GitHub, GitLab, or Jenkins. - Experience in planning and designing test frameworks and strategies with a focus on test automation, along with conducting and documenting manual tests. - Excellent team player with effective communication skills in English, adept at sharing insights and best practices.
