As an Infrastructure Engineer at UBS, you will be responsible for designing and building Database Products across on-premise & Cloud platforms and running infrastructure services. Devops+ Python Engineer DevOps Knowledge: How it relevant: CI implementation is largely completed. Candidate should be able to work with DevOps lead on CI and CD (Experience pushing C/C++ builds to Artifactory and retrieving artifacts for deployment) Knowledge required: Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Runner. (All Jenkin based pipelines will be migrated as GitLab Runner based.) Knowledge in scripting and working in Linux environments. Familiar with containerization tools, including Docker and Kubernetes. Proficiency level rated at 5 6 out of 10. Exposure to AWS is good to have skill. AWS knowledge may become relevant post current assignments, especially in upcoming CSI Live cloud migration effort Python Knowledge: How it relevant: Most of the projects/modules in Darwin is of C,C++ projects with different libraries and dependencies. With python, should be able to read the configuration file and creating packages which can be deployed in test setup. Knowledge required: Has foundational understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP). Experience includes reading configuration files and creating deployment packages in Python, primarily for integration into the STUDS system. Expected Python proficiency is 5 6 out of 10.

Role & responsibilities 1. Prepare Helm charts and package applications for deployment. 2. Create manifests and database tunnels for seamless development and testing. 3. Create and maintain development support tools and CI/CD pipelines for multiple projects. 4. Understand the product and create dependency maps to ensure smooth project workflows. 5. Maintain and optimize DevOps tools, including GitLab on-premises and GitPods. 6. Support and configure container registries, code scanners, and code reporting tools. 7. Demonstrate proficiency in Kubernetes and Docker, with hands-on experience in CRDs, StatefulSets, PVs, PVCs, Docker volumes, and security contexts. 13. Experience with Helm for Kubernetes package management. 14. Utilize Ansible for configuration management. 15. Possess practical knowledge and experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), VMware vSphere, Linux, and configuration management. 16. Implement , provision, and monitor a fleet of servers. People 17. Monitor infrastructure using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager. 18. Work with logs aggregation systems, write queries, and set up log shipping. 19. Have hands-on experience with Python and Bash scripting to automate routine tasks. 20. Use practical knowledge of CNCF incubated tools like Longhorn, Velero, Kasten, Harbor, and Rancher to build and maintain private clouds. 21. Implement DevSecOps practices and security tools to enhance the security of infrastructure, network, and storage layers. Preferred candidate profile 1.
