You are an experienced and financial services oriented professional being sought to assume the role of Lead Quality Automation Engineer. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the testing and overall quality of the deliverables created by your project team to enhance our suite of financial products. In this role, you will have a significant impact on a cross-functional project team, coordinating and executing end-to-end testing requirements in collaboration with team members. To excel in this position, you must effectively manage your time across multiple tasks or projects, grasp complex commodities-related concepts, provide quality reporting, design independent test cases, conduct testing, and document tests, all while demonstrating strong situational awareness and relationship management skills. Your responsibilities will include: Planning: - Developing and leading the creation of effective testing plans, test scenarios, test cases, and requirements traceability in accordance with company standards - Identifying and coordinating testing activities for software project teams - Defining clear expectations for all testing tasks, including inputs, outputs, and error conditions - Mentoring the project team on QA processes and company standards - Designing test cases with automation in mind for every project Testing: - Driving the testing process from analysis to production validation - Creating or setting up test data for planned test execution activities and mentoring others in this regard - Executing testing for projects (manually and/or automated), including functional, integration, and regression testing, as well as assisting with or coordinating user acceptance testing Reporting and Metrics: - Proactively identifying project risks and collaborating with the team and management to mitigate them - Managing bug reporting and identifying areas for improvement - Supervising testing results and reporting on metrics - Auditing quality standards compliance for the teams you collaborate with Qualifications and Experience Required: - Professional degree (BE/BTech) or equivalent career and performance experience - Practical experience in software testing with familiarity or willingness to work with tools like Selenium or Cucumber - Understanding of back-end testing is advantageous - Excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work effectively in a team environment - Capability to translate requirements into detailed test cases - Comprehensive knowledge of various test methodologies and techniques, including White, Black, and Gray box testing, regression testing, system testing, unit testing, etc. - Software testing certification is preferred - Experience in setting up Gitlab pipelines and working on AWS is preferred If you are seeking an exciting job opportunity as vast and intriguing as the world itself, we invite you to join our team at LSEG. As a DevOps Lead at our client's location in Hinjewadi, Pune, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of DevOps engineers, ensuring best practices in automation and infrastructure management. With your expertise in Terraform, AWS, GitLab pipelines, and Cloud Cost Optimization, you will design, implement, and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code solutions for cloud deployments while managing and optimizing AWS infrastructure for high availability, scalability, and cost efficiency. Your role will involve maintaining the CI/CD pipeline, analyzing, executing, and streamlining DevOps practices, supporting cloud cost optimization initiatives, and collaborating with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration of DevOps processes. You will implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance, while ensuring compliance with security policies and best practices in cloud infrastructure and DevOps workflows. Additionally, you will build, deploy, automate, maintain, manage, and support AWS cloud-based infrastructure to ensure availability, performance, scalability, and security of development, test, and production systems. Your responsibilities will also include system troubleshooting, integrating with other systems, evaluating new cloud technology options, and designing highly available BC/DR strategies for all cloud resources. In this role, you will develop and maintain scalable and automated cloud infrastructure, ensure robust CI/CD pipelines, design and implement effective cloud security strategies, and collaborate with stakeholders to assess functional needs and translate them into robust infrastructure solutions. You will stay updated with emerging cloud technologies, troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure issues, and demonstrate technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, innovation, continuous improvement, communication skills, collaboration, teamwork, adaptability, and security awareness. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, with proficiency in AWS cloud services, infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, scripting languages such as Python or Bash, network architectures, cloud security protocols, Linux and Windows server environments, and certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer and Terraform Associate being desirable. Experience with containerization technologies, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, and leadership and communication skills are also essential for success in this role.,
