As a Tech Engineer, your responsibilities will include evaluating, planning, and integrating technical infrastructure security solutions. You will be tasked with ensuring a secure infrastructure environment, maintaining production stability and performance, analyzing issues within applications and systems, and collaborating with engineering groups on the delivery of large-scale programs. Additionally, you will play a key role in maintaining and enhancing existing deployment and build mechanisms. You will be part of the Security team within Group Technology Infrastructure and Security Engineering, a global organization focused on preventing and detecting cyber threats while securing IT systems. Specifically, you will work in the Cyber Technology service team, specializing in providing security products and services for the Cyber Hygiene space, with a focus on Infrastructure Scanning and Security Remediation. Your contributions will be crucial in developing Infrastructure Scanning and Security Remediation capabilities, identifying necessary IT business solutions, and supporting their implementation. To excel in this role, you must possess strong Python programming and BASH scripting skills (or equivalent programming experience), along with proficiency in Linux. Knowledge of Azure technologies and Gitlab DevOps is advantageous. Effective communication and documentation skills, both technical and non-technical (using tools such as MS Teams, Confluence, and Gitlab), are essential. Additionally, you should be adept at designing, planning, and delivering solutions in a large-scale enterprise environment, with technical IT security experience in vulnerability management.
