Role Overview: As an Associate Technical Writer at Bentley Systems, you will be joining the Facilities Engineering Team to assist in advancing infrastructure software and services for Plant, Building, and Structural Engineering domains. Your main responsibility will involve collaborating with various teams to develop high-quality software documentation. Key Responsibilities: - Author, update, and maintain product documentation. - Work closely with SMEs for information gathering and documentation reviews. - Prepare drafts of documentation for review and incorporate feedback. - Raise Pull Requests for documentation updates and fixes. - Utilize GIT, ADO repositories, and Oxygen XML Author for producing documentation outputs. - Ensure timely completion of documentation tasks while maintaining high quality. - Collaborate with colleagues in an agile work environment and manage time efficiently. - Bring 1-3 years of technical writing experience in the software products and services industry. - Possess a degree in engineering or relevant field, along with experience in writing technical documents. - Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. - Familiarity with DITA/XML authoring tools, GIT-ADO, CMS, and graphics editing tools. - Ability to simplify complex technical concepts into effective user manuals. - Knowledge of Microsoft Manual of Style (MSTP) or Chicago Manual of Style for Technical Writing is desirable.
