We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented GIS Engineer/Senior GIS Engineer to join our team. Your main responsibility will involve developing, maintaining, and analyzing geospatial data using ArcGIS and related tools. You will be expected to create high-quality maps, reports, and dashboards, design and manage geodatabases and spatial data models, as well as integrate GIS with other data systems and technologies such as GPS, CAD, SQL, and APIs. Ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of spatial datasets will be crucial in this role. Collaboration with cross-functional teams including engineers and analysts is also a key aspect of the position. To qualify for this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Additionally, you should have at least 3 years of experience working with ESRI ArcGIS products such as Desktop, Pro, Online, and Enterprise. A strong understanding of GIS principles, cartography, and spatial data analysis is required, along with proficiency in working with shapefiles, geodatabases, and web maps. Experience in data visualization and map creation is also necessary. Preferred qualifications include experience with ArcGIS Server, QGIS, or cloud-based GIS solutions, as well as knowledge of GIS mapping, remote sensing, LiDAR, or CAD integration. Possessing a GIS certification, such as GISP or Esri Technical Certification, would be an added advantage. In addition to technical skills, we value soft skills such as excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, strong attention to detail and data accuracy, effective verbal and written communication, and the capability to work both independently and within a team. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Relocation or reliable commuting to this location is preferred.
