We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a solid background in GIS development, particularly with expertise in the ESRI suite of products, enterprise data management, and environmental data systems like EQuIS. Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, and maintaining GIS applications, integrating data from various sources, and creating insightful visualizations using Power BI. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a deep understanding of GIS principles, and proficiency in languages such as C# or Python. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain GIS applications utilizing ESRI products like ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online. - Develop geoprocessing workflows and scripts for spatial analysis and data manipulation. - Manage enterprise geodatabases to ensure data quality and integrity. - Integrate data from diverse sources, including the EQuIS environmental data management system. - Create and maintain data visualization dashboards and reports with Power BI. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into effective GIS solutions. - Troubleshoot and resolve GIS-related issues. - Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and trends. - Contribute to the development of GIS best practices and standards. - Document GIS processes and workflows for future reference. Required Skills and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in GIS, Geography, Environmental Science, Computer Science, or related fields. - 5+ years of experience in GIS development. - Proficiency in ESRI products such as ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, and ArcGIS Online. - Experience with enterprise geodatabase management, including ArcSDE and SQL Server Spatial. - Familiarity with the EQuIS environmental data management system. - Proficiency in C# or Python for GIS scripting and automation. - Knowledge of data visualization tools, especially Power BI. - Basic skills in Excel for data manipulation and analysis. - Strong understanding of GIS principles, spatial analysis techniques, and cartography. - Excellent problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. - Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
