Job Description for Panchakarma Therapist Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Panchakarma Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in administering Ayurvedic detoxification therapies and ensuring patient comfort and satisfaction. The role requires hands-on experience with Panchakarma procedures, a thorough understanding of Ayurveda principles, and a compassionate approach to holistic healing. Key Responsibilities Therapeutic Procedures Administer Panchakarma therapies including Abhyanga (oil massage), Shirodhara, Basti (enema therapy), Vamana (emesis therapy), Nasya (nasal therapy), and Virechana (purgation therapy) as per the doctor’s prescription. Ensure proper preparation and application of herbal oils, pastes, and other Panchakarma materials. Maintain strict hygiene and follow safety protocols during treatments. Patient Care Provide personalized care and monitor the patient’s response to treatments. Educate patients on post-therapy care and lifestyle changes to enhance treatment outcomes. Ensure patient comfort and address concerns during the therapy sessions. Equipment and Facility Management Prepare and maintain therapy rooms, equipment, and materials for Panchakarma procedures. Ensure cleanliness and sterility of all tools and therapy spaces. Maintain inventory of oils, herbs, and consumables required for therapies.
