The Special Educator will be responsible for teaching and supporting students with disabilities, primarily at the middle school level. Daily tasks include creating individualized education plans, adapting curriculum to meet the needs of students, and collaborating with other educators and parents to ensure a supportive learning environment. Qualifications Knowledge of Disabilities and experience in Special Education Teaching experience, preferably at the Middle School level Strong Communication skills Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with students with disabilities Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, or related field Experience in using adaptive technologies and tools is a plus
