Axalta is currently seeking a Product Stewardship & Regulatory Supervisor to join our team in Gurgaon, India. As a leader in the coatings industry, we are dedicated to providing innovative solutions that protect and enhance our customers" products while also contributing to the beauty and functionality of their finishes. With a wide range of brands that are instrumental in various global initiatives, we are looking for a qualified individual to lead our Product Stewardship Supporting Centre in India (PSCI) team and support our global Product Stewardship and Regulatory function. In this role, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining procedures and work instructions for all recurring processes within the PSCI team, ensuring consistency and efficiency. You will also oversee Customer and Operations Support, including timely completion of customer requests such as issuing Safety Data Sheets, Environmental Data Sheets, declarations, and preparing reports related to product stewardship and regulatory functions. Additionally, you will be involved in Raw Material Data Governance Support, ensuring accurate processes and supervision of data management practices related to raw materials. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or higher in chemistry or a related field, along with at least 5 years of experience in product stewardship and/or regulatory affairs, preferably in a multinational corporate environment. Strong leadership and team management skills are essential, as well as practical experience in interpreting product regulatory requirements and knowledge of GHS classifications, SDS authoring, and chemical substance regulations. Excellent English communication skills, customer focus, and proficiency in Microsoft Office products are also required.
