As a Scripting and Automation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and debugging Google Apps Scripts to automate workflows across Google Workspace, with a primary focus on Google Sheets. Your key responsibilities will include: - Automating repetitive tasks such as data importing, cleaning, formatting, and calculations to enhance efficiency and reduce manual errors. - Creating custom functions and user interfaces within Google Sheets to improve functionality for non-technical users. - Integrating Google Sheets with other Google services and external APIs to build end-to-end solutions. You will also be involved in reporting and data analysis, where you will: - Design, create, and maintain reports and interactive dashboards using Google Sheets and Google Looker Studio to provide stakeholders with key insights. - Collect data from various sources, perform validation and quality checks, and analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. - Collaborate with different departments to understand reporting needs and deliver customized data solutions. Additionally, you will be responsible for documentation and training by: - Providing technical support and training to end-users on the tools and reports developed. - Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of all scripts, reporting processes, and data sources. - Establishing and implementing best practices for data management and spreadsheet hygiene across the organization. This role will require strong scripting and automation skills, proficiency in Google Apps Script, Google Sheets, and Google Workspace, as well as experience in data analysis and reporting.
