Job Title: Accountant Location: MAYYANAD KOLLAM Company: BAKED CAKES Experience Required: Minimum 3 years Job Type: Full-time About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with at least 3 years of proven expertise in managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our organization and supporting business decisions through accurate financial data. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and reconciliations. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, tax filings, and financial regulations. Monitor cash flow, budgets, and forecasts. Support internal and external audits with accurate documentation. Implement and maintain accounting controls and procedures. Provide financial insights and recommendations to management. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of accounting experience. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar). Advanced Excel and MS Office skills. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. High attention to detail and accuracy.
