German Language Teacher

You will be responsible for collaborating with and supporting a Senior German Teacher at our institute in Cochin. Your role will involve delivering dynamic and engaging German language lessons, conducting group and individual classes, and preparing teaching materials and activities. Additionally, you will provide guidance to students needing extra help, address queries, and assist in developing strong communication skills in German. Collaborating with the Senior German Teacher, you will develop detailed lesson plans, presentations, and innovative teaching methods to enhance the learning experience. You will also assist in administering tests, marking assignments, maintaining student records, and monitoring progress. Ensuring a well-organised classroom environment conducive to effective learning is essential, along with planning German cultural events, workshops, and extracurricular activities. To qualify for this role, you must hold a certification in German language proficiency (minimum B2 level or higher) and have at least 3-5 years of experience in teaching German to diverse groups. Proficiency in German at B2/C1 level or above, excellent communication and teamwork skills, adaptability, patience, enthusiasm for teaching, and basic familiarity with digital teaching tools are essential for success in this position.
