As a Geotechnical Engineer in the Geotechnical & Heavy Civil Engineering department, you will leverage your 10 to 18 years of experience to showcase your strong technical capabilities in various geotechnical services. Your responsibilities will include planning subsurface investigations, reviewing geotechnical reports, designing foundations, analyzing slope stability, and implementing ground improvement techniques. Knowledge of MSE wall design and familiarity with international codes and standards will be essential in this role. You will actively participate in technical meetings with clients and contractors to address design and construction issues, conduct value engineering exercises, and respond to queries effectively. Proficiency in Geotechnical Software like DIPS, WEDGE, UNWEDGE is essential for this role. Your tasks will involve geological mapping of various project components, including Face mapping and Surface mapping at the site. Experience in rock mass classification and support selection is required for this position. You will also be responsible for Portal Stabilization, Tunneling, and Underground Works. Identifying potential hazard zones and geological risks such as fault lines, weak rock zones, rock bursts, and water inflow will be crucial. As a Manager-Geology, you will be expected to provide daily and monthly progress reports, monitor project works, and conduct reviews. Planning for Major Civil Works, as well as reviewing and monitoring them, will be part of your routine tasks. You will also need to interact with clients and local liaisons to manage the company's scope of work effectively. Documenting geological database and documentation as per IMS & ISO guidelines will be a key aspect of your role. Familiarity with grouting techniques such as Jet, Consolidation, and Contact Grouting will also be necessary to succeed in this position.,
