Responsibilities Define scan plans for immersion ultrasonic inspection of forged parts. Prepare programs of immersion ultrasonic inspection of forged parts. Perform simulation studies to verify inspection of complete part geometry. Maintain close interaction with AD sites in France / India to ensure successful validation of scan plans. Propose solutions to improve inspection methodology. Perform gap analysis on different specifications pertaining to NDT. Keeping updated with emerging trends, technology and best practices within the industry. Support research activity in the group related to NDT techniques. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical / Metallurgical Engineering / Physics Master’s degree in Non-Destructive Testing is preferred ASNT / PCN / NAS410 / ISO9712 Level 2 NDT Certification in UT ASNT / PCN / NAS410 / ISO9712 Level 3 NDT Certification in UT / PT / MT is a plus Working experience > 2y as Non-Destructive Testing / Evaluation engineer in ultrasonic inspection of forging / casting / structural parts / composites / pipes / tanks Working experience in aerospace industry is preferred Training / working experience in simulation using CIVA software is a plus Working experience in PAUT / TOFD is a plus Hands-on experience in AutoCAD is a plus Good problem-solving and analytical abilities Excellent documentation and reporting skills Knowledge in French language is a plus Show more Show less
