Geologist with Experience in Hydropower Projects

. Lead geological and geotechnical investigations for dams, tunnels, surge shafts, and underground caverns.

. Should be well versed with RMR and Q-system for rock mass classification.

. Provide construction-phase geological support, including face mapping, rock mass classification, and excavation recommendations.

. Prepare and review geological reports, drawings, and cross-sections for design validation and regulatory compliance.

. Well versed with software viz. MS Office, AutoCAD, DIPS.

. Assess geological hazards such as slope instability, fault zones, and groundwater inflow.

. Supervise drilling, core logging, and in-situ testing during site investigations.

. Monitor geological conditions during excavation and suggest mitigation measures.

. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across design engineering centers and construction sites.

. Continuously monitor construction methods on-site and adjust as necessary after discussion with team to resolve challenges, improve efficiency, or address unforeseen issues.

. Participate in tender preparation within defined deadlines, understanding customer requirements, preparing presentations.

. Periodic site visits for discussion & co-ordination with the project team.

. Interaction with relevant vendors and evaluation of their technical proposals.

.Excellent communication and technical documentation skills

.Keep a record of construction process changes and lessons learned from practical experience

.Maintain comprehensive records of document & drawing revisions, approvals, and any changes to the project scope.

.Prepare technical reports, including site assessments, and post-project analysis.
