Strong front-end development experience (8+ years), with a minimum of 2 years focused on data visualization Proficiency in React.js and Deck.gl (including Layers, Views, and Carto integration) Advanced knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) , HTML/CSS , and rendering technologies such as WebGL and Canvas Experience working with large-scale datasets , geospatial data (GeoJSON, TopoJSON, tilesets), and coordinate systems Hands-on experience with data manipulation libraries (e.g., D3.js , Lodash ) and RESTful APIs Proven leadership skills in guiding small development teams , including mentoring, code reviews, and project delivery Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams Ability to create intuitive, responsive, and accessible data visualizations for a variety of devices Good-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with design systems and tools like Figma or Storybook Background in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) or experience working with urban data Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux or Zustand Experience with modern build tools like Vite or Webpack Exposure to performance profiling and optimization tools Prior experience working in fast-paced Agile environments Skills Deck.gl, React, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Carto, JSON, API, CI/CD, Java.
