Revolutionizing Technologies: Leverage modern Android development using Kotlin, integrated with advanced GIS functionalities, Google Maps APIs, offline capabilities (Room/SQLite), multithreading, and secure architecturepowering location-centric, real-time experiences. Agile Development: Operate within an Agile/Scrum framework, enabling iterative development, fast-paced delivery, and close collaboration across teams for continuous improvement and innovation. Role and Responsibilities Develop and enhance Android applications using Kotlin Integrate and optimize Google Maps APIs (Polygons, Polylines, KML, Markers, etc.) Build GIS-based features with local storage (Room, SQLite) and offline sync Implement location services, background processing, and push notifications Apply best practices for multithreading, memory management, and data caching Ensure secure data handling, app responsiveness, and smooth UI/UX Work collaboratively in Agile/Scrum teams and provide technical mentorship Utilize debugging tools and performance monitoring (e.g., Firebase, ADB) Requirements Kotlin Development Strong hands-on experience in Android using Kotlin Google Maps API Integration – Polygons, polylines, markers, KML, geofencing Local Storage – Experience with Room or SQLite databases REST API Integration – Building and consuming backend APIs Location Services – GPS, background tracking, geofencing App Performance & Security – Optimization, encryption, secure storage Multithreading & Caching – Efficient background and data handling Good-to-Have Skills (Brief): GIS / Survey Domain Knowledge – Familiarity with mapping or spatial data apps Firebase / New Relic – App performance monitoring tools Agile / Scrum – Comfortable working in iterative, collaborative setups Leadership & Mentoring – Guiding junior developers or leading sprints
