We are looking for a Geospatial Analyst to join our data generation team at SatSure. As a Geospatial Analyst, you will work with various datasets such as satellite imageries, boundaries, weather data, and more. Your responsibilities will involve processing satellite imagery, developing insights, running models, identifying features, classifying images, preparing reports and maps, and supporting client deliveries. The GIS Specialist will play a crucial role in integrating geographic information systems into urban design initiatives within our Planning and Urban Design team. Your responsibilities will include providing technical expertise in handling large geospatial datasets, conducting spatial data analysis, and visualization to support various projects and guide design strategies. You should possess skills in satellite imagery interpretation, spatial data visualization, and contribute technical insights to assist internal consultants, the broader Dar Group, and external collaborators. Your duties will involve: Data Collection Processing: - Collect, process, and validate geographic data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and integrity. - Maintain scalable, secure, and compliant data workflows. Advanced Spatial Analysis: - Conduct complex spatial analyses to identify trends and spatial relationships for urban planning, infrastructure design, and landscape strategies. - Utilize spatial statistics, geospatial analysis, and predictive modeling techniques for project-specific challenges. Mapping, Visualization, and Web-based Tools: - Prepare high-quality GIS mapping, presentations, technical drawings, and other deliverables in a timely manner. - Develop and manage interactive web maps, story maps, and 3D GIS applications using tools like ArcGIS Online and Enterprise. - Oversee GIS activities planning, data flow management, distribution, and geospatial database design and development. - Maintain accurate geospatial documentation and support in complex project work planning. Mandatory Qualifications and Work Experience Required: - Bachelor's degree or postgraduate qualification in geographical information systems (GIS), geography, or computer sciences. - Minimum of 3 years of work experience. - Proficiency in ESRI product suite, including ArcGIS Online, Enterprise, and ArcGIS Pro. - Experience in creating web maps, story maps, and 3D GIS web apps. - Familiarity with Rhino/Grasshopper, Python programming, and strong analytical skills. - Extensive experience with Raster data, satellite imagery, image classification, and attention to detail. Good to Have: - Understanding of Geo statistics. - Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and basic scripting for data processing and test automation. - Willingness to learn and enhance programming skills further.,
