As a Genio OpenText ETL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining ETL workflows that support data integration and migration projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with business analysts and data architects to understand data requirements, implementing data extraction, transformation, and loading processes, optimizing ETL workflows for performance and scalability, ensuring data integrity throughout the ETL process, troubleshooting and resolving ETL-related issues, documenting ETL processes, and providing guidance to junior ETL developers. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Additionally, you must have proven experience as an ETL Developer, with a focus on OpenText Genio, a strong understanding of ETL concepts, data integration, and data warehousing, proficiency in SQL and database management systems, familiarity with data modeling and data mapping techniques, excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and strong communication and teamwork abilities. Preferred qualifications include experience with other ETL tools and technologies and knowledge of Agile development methodologies.
