Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain web (optional: mobile) applications using ReactJS, React Native, and Node.js/Express.js. Build and integrate RESTful APIs / GraphQL services for seamless front-end and back-end communication. Manage MongoDB and SQL databases including schema design, queries, and optimization. Deploy, manage, and optimize applications in the AWS cloud environment (EC2, S3, RDS/DynamoDB, Lambda, etc.). Maintain and collaborate on codebase using GitLab, following best practices for branching, code reviews, and CI/CD. Implement web security standards (XSS, CSRF, HTTPS, OAuth2, JWT) to protect applications and data. Ensure application performance optimization (caching, code splitting, lazy loading, CDN integration). Collaborate with UI/UX teams to deliver responsive, user-friendly interfaces. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in existing UK-based projects. Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and cross-functional collaboration with QA, DevOps, and Product teams. Must-Have Skills & Qualifications 3+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience. Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+). Expertise in ReactJS (web apps). Proficiency in Node.js / Express.js for back-end development. Strong experience with MongoDB (NoSQL) and familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL). Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and front-end/back-end integration. Experience deploying and managing applications in AWS cloud. Key Objectives/Deliverables Reporting to the Project Manager, the role holder will be technically competent in their area of Ericsson RAN databuild and integration, along with quality checks. This will include but is not limited to; databuild, scripting, configuration & integration, troubleshooting & maintenance, and data quality checks on the Telefonica O2 UK Ericsson network (2G, 3G, 4G and 5G). The role holder may also be requested to participate in weekend work or extended hours, depending on programme requirements. The role holder will demonstrate professionalism and flexibility. Responsibilities · Configuration & Integration of Ericsson 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G base station products on the Telefonica O2 UK network. · Managing RAN migration activities to support new transmission backhaul solutions. This includes but is not limited to; box swap, 10Gb/s bearer, L2 to L3, TDM/ATM to IP, microwave, dark fibre. · Responsible for working alone or in a small team. · Responsible for following the correct procedures at all time. · Report and audit analysis against network baselines, and correction of parameters to align to design specifications. · Troubleshooting & resolution of issues relating to supplied transport and radio data, and backhaul issues. · Proactive in keeping internal stakeholders informed as to progress of activities. Operational Experience Essential – · Understanding of IPV4 subnetting, routing and routed protocols. · Understanding of 2G/3G/4G/5G network architectures, with end to end understanding of connectivity to network elements (2G - DUG, 3G - RBS, 4G - ERBS, 4G – BB Radio node, 5G – BB Radio Node, SIU/TCU, BSC, RNC, SecGW, MME, etc.) · Knowledgeable and experienced with proactive troubleshooting and maintenance on multi-customer, multi-technology networks such as; Telefonica or Vodafone Beacon Ericsson network. · Experience of commissioning, integration, migrating and upgrading Ericsson RAN products (RBS6000, BB6XXX, DUG/W/S, SIU) · Experience of Ericsson network manager (ENM Auto provisioning, ENM CLI, etc.) · Experience of using AMOS/MO SHELL commands for troubleshooting and scripting. Desirable – · 5+ years of telecom integration and operation experience. · 3+ years of LTE RAN Integration and technical support experience. · Understanding of transmission network architecture as deployed in the Telefonica UK network. · Thorough knowledge of Ericsson ENM environment & tools · Experience with creation of scripts for the integration and upgrading of Ericsson RAN products. · Prior experience performing integrations on the Vodafone and Telefonica O2 UK networks · Experience with scheduling and managing integration and troubleshooting activities. · Strong technical writing skills.
