Regional Marketing Manager Generic Division Location: Ahmedabad, Gujarat Department: Marketing Industry: Pharmaceuticals Generics Reports To: Head Marketing / General Manager – Marketing Job Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Regional Marketing Manager to lead marketing initiatives for our Generic Division within a defined region. The role involves strategic planning, brand development, sales support, and execution of region-specific marketing programs to drive product penetration, brand recall, and revenue growth. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement regional marketing strategies in line with national objectives to promote generic pharmaceutical products. Collaborate closely with Regional Sales Managers, Product Managers, and Field Force to align marketing campaigns with sales goals. Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and prescriber behavior to identify new opportunities and threats. Customize marketing communication, promotional tools, and brand campaigns as per regional needs. Conduct CME programs, product launches, doctor engagement initiatives, and regional brand awareness campaigns. Monitor ROI of regional marketing activities and optimize marketing spend. Train and support field force on product positioning, key messages, and objection handling. Ensure compliance with regulatory and ethical promotional practices. Submit regular reports on campaign performance, regional market insights, and competitor intelligence. Key Requirements: Education: B.Pharm / B.Sc. (Life Sciences) + MBA (Marketing) preferred Experience: 10–15 years in pharmaceutical marketing, with at least 3 years in a regional role or in generic marketing Strong knowledge of the Indian pharmaceutical industry, particularly generics Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills Strategic thinking with hands-on execution ability Familiarity with regional languages and doctor network is an added advantage Work Conditions: Frequent travel within the assigned region Coordination with HO, manufacturing, and regulatory teams
