As a selected student for this position, you will undergo a comprehensive 18-month training program that includes both classroom sessions and on-the-job training. The focus of this training will be on the Operation & Maintenance (O&M) of various types of generating plants such as Thermal and Hydros, Transmission Receiving Stations, Distribution Sub Stations, as well as Renewable Energy Sites including Solar and Wind installations. During the training program, you will have the opportunity to develop key skills related to the efficient and effective operation and maintenance of power generation and distribution facilities. The goal of the program is to provide you with the knowledge and hands-on experience necessary to succeed in this field. Key Skills that you will acquire during the training include but are not limited to: - Understanding the operation of generating plants - Maintenance procedures for various types of power facilities - Transmission and distribution system operations - Renewable energy technologies such as Solar and Wind - Safety protocols and best practices in the power industry By the end of the 18-month training period, you will be equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in the Operation & Maintenance of power facilities and contribute effectively to the industry.,
