Role & Responsibilities The Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales through the MDDSA (Motor Dealer Direct Selling Agent) channel. Key responsibilities include: Sales Target Achievement : Ensure consistent delivery of sales targets across motor and general insurance products. Strategic Planning : Develop and implement sales plans for dealerships and individual IMDs (Insurance Marketing Distributors). Channel Development : Recruit and onboard motor dealerships and individual agents to expand the MDDSA network. Training & Performance Management : Train agents and monitor their performance to ensure alignment with business goals. Sales Strategy Execution : Formulate and execute effective sales strategies for motor insurance and other general insurance offerings. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong understanding of motor insurance products . Prior experience in motor DSA and agency sales channels . Proven ability to manage and grow sales teams. Team Management Lead and mentor a team of MDDSAs and agents. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching for improvement. Ensure adherence to compliance and process guidelines. Recruitment & Onboarding Identify and recruit new Motor Dealers and Individual Agents. Ensure smooth onboarding and initial training of new recruits. Training & Development Conduct regular training sessions on GCI products, sales techniques, and compliance. Keep the team updated on new product launches and process changes. Business Development Explore new markets and opportunities for expanding the MDDSA network. Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and agents to maximize productivity. MIS & Reporting Maintain accurate records of sales, agent performance, and training. Share timely reports with the Sales Manager and other stakeholders. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong understanding of Motor Insurance products and General Insurance offerings. Prior experience in Motor Dealer & DSA, and Agency sales channels . Proven ability to lead, manage, and grow sales teams effectively.
